The popularity of Android devices is increasing every hour. And definitely it’s not easy for the developers to find an individual root method for each and every handsets. So an XDA has come up with a universal method to root android phones.
The method is a script written by XDA Recognized Developer Bin4ry. It takes advantage of an issue found that’s native to Android. As Bin4ary explains:
“i made a small script which is able to root ICS/JB phones. It uses a remount timing issue in Androids “adb restore” service.
So normally it should work on nearly all ICS/JB devices, for some it won’t but the idea may work in a slightly modded version”
The script works for most of the devices but there are few exceptional case in Android device in which this script is not going to work. It works nearly on all ICS and JB devices and it is surprisingly simple to use as well.
Steps To Root Android Devices running ICS and Jelly Bean:
- Download the Root Script.
- Then Extract the file in your PC/Laptop (wherever it is)
- Now open the RunMe.bat file and follow the instructions.
The method has been confirmed for the devices listed below:
