The newly announced Sony Xperia J is another addition to the Japanese firm’s new series of handsets and carries the design ethos of the old Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc and Xperia Arc S. Sony believes the new smartphone offers a stand-out screen size for consumers who wish to combine great style with affordability. There are many such budget friendly phones in the market that offer great features. In this case, it is the good design, choice of four colors (black, gold, white and silver) and the Ice Cream Sandwich out of the box that make the Xperia J an attraction. The HTC One V too is one of the budget friendly phones available with some impressive specs. So, here is a comparison between the Sony Xperia J and the HTC One V.
The Xperia J measures 124.3 mm in length, 61.2 mm in breadth and 9.2 mm in thickness. It weighs 124 g. The One V is 9.2 mm thick too and its footprint measures 120.3 * 59.7 mm. There is no word about the price of the Sony Xperia J. The HTC One V is available at $330.
The phones have similar specs and it could very well be a tie between the two. But we don’t know the price of the Sony Xperia J. If Xperia J lands at around $300, it will be head to head with the HTC One V. The Xperia J is a decent handset belonging to mid-range smartphones category like the HTC One V.
